Feel great, stress less, and love your Work again
The Energy Edge
For millions of years, humans evolved to move, rest, play, and work in rhythms. Then we built the modern workplace and ignored all of it. We replaced biological rhythms with calendar invites. We replaced recovery with caffeine. We replaced play with productivity metrics. We replaced purpose with promotions. And we wonder why we're exhausted, disengaged, and asking "is this all there is?" The fix isn't another productivity system. The fix is to follow what your body already knows how to do.
The Energy Edge will help you feel great, stress, and love your job again by aligning your work with their biology. The book covers nine practical and evidence-backed practices from neuroscience and sports science to help you manage your energy, master focus, and create the conditions for team performance.
I wish someone had handed me this when I first became a leader. It's a practical guide to doing your best work and feeling great while you do it.

About the Author
ERIC REINERS is a CTO, executive coach, and professional speaker who is obsessed with making our working lives better.
Eric has held senior leadership roles including CTO, CIO, VP of Product, and VP of Engineering at high-growth technology companies where he launched award-winning products and responded to high-profile cyber-security attacks. The high stress environment of cybersecurity inspired Eric to create the Corporate Athlete Program, which helps corporate professionals train, perform, and recover like pro athletes, so they can feel great, stress less, and love their work.
Eric combines his leadership experience with evidence-
based practices from neuroscience, biology, and sports science to create practical and repeatable habits that honor our biology
instead of fighting it. This approach goes beyond typical corporate
training and coaching. Eric trains and coaches high-performing professionals to do the best work of their life while feeling great
at the same time.
Eric is a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor and a certified
High Flow Coach from Flow Research Collective. He holds a
bachelor’s in applied physics from the University of Northern
Iowa and a master’s degree in applied neuroscience from King’s
College London.
Eric lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Kerri, their two sons,
and a very enthusiastic Australian Shepherd. When not speaking
and writing about these topics, Eric is practicing them. You might
find him playing in the woods with kids and dog, banging his
head against a wall of code, or making a mess in the woodshop,
usually forgetting to eat lunch.
